We are very proud to say that all of Bonnie and Blue's babies now have permanent loving homes.

Some of Bonnie's babies will be in the showring next year.

We would like to thank everyone for deciding to have one of our puppies.

We are taking reservations for our next mating which will possibly be at the beginning of 2012 - We are not having any more litters in 2011.

We have puppies!

Bonnie is now the proud mum of a beautiful litter of 13 new babies. We have 8 girls and 5 boys, all black.

Mum and babies are doing very well Daddy ' Blue ' has been informed and is very pleased with his new offspring.

We are hopeful that one or two from this litter will go to homes that are interested in showing as the litter is of exceptional quality. We do already have bookings for this litter so recommend early reservation.

22ND JUNE 2011

Otago Lani ' Bonnie ' (top left) has been confirmed in whelp followiing the mating with Animus Rusca Ferro ' Blue ' (bottom left).

This litter promises to be of outstanding quality as the pedigree contains some of the best bloodlines in Europe including Altobello, Citone, Campavalano and Royal Bell. Bonnie is of very sound construction and excellent temperament and Blue is a strong well boned male with excellent temperament also.

Bonnie's hip score total is 10. Blue is cardio tested clear Nov 2010. Parents of the dam and sire are all PHPV clear.

The pedigree is predominantly european and the puppies promise to ideal for showing and / or working and as always perfect companions. Click here to view the pedigree

We are pleased to announce the safe arrival of Lily and Azer's puppies.

Lily has had 10 strong healthy puppies. 4 girls and 6 boys all black. We are very pleased with the quality of these puppies. We already have homes for 3 girls and 5 boys from this litter.

We are looking for a show home for the pick of the males at this stage. We have currently 1 bitch and 1 male available. (see their progress below)...

We have used Azer on a half sister to Lily ( Rosie ) but Rosie only produced one puppy. We are so delighted with the quality of the puppy bitch that we decided to use him on Lily.We think the puppies will be of similar type and quality as the pedigrees are almost identical We are , therefore . interested in some of the prospective homes being show homes

We are Kennel Club Accredited Breeders and our puppies come with 4 weeks insurance,wormed to date at 8 weeks, a bag of food, and of course lifetime support. We do have bookings already for this litter so early reservation is recommended..It promises to be an exciting litter.

'We are very pleased to say that our male puppy from the Buffy / Boss litter has now found a loving forever home. He will be going to his new home shortly.

If you are interested in a puppy from us we are hopeful that we will have a litter mid April. Details to follow. Please contact us if you are interested. We do have bookings already for the forthcoming litter.

Otago Kura ' Lily ' (pictured left) has been mated to Timoteo Betelges del Jeujaan ' Azer ' (pictured right) and is confirmed in whelp with at least 9 puppies, due around 14th April.

This is a superb combination of top european bloodlines with a touch of english bloodlines. There are many outstanding dogs in the pedigree including World Champion Gino Gomez del Citone and Multi Champion and Dutch Working Champion Russkaja Mechta Andor Absolut. We are expecting the puppies to be of top quality suitable for showing, working and of course companionship.

We are extremely pleased to announce the arrival of a beautiful litter of puppies from our ' special ' Otago Tahora ' Buffy ' (pictured top right) on 4th August.

She has given us 7 strong healthy puppies. 2 bitches and 5 dogs all black and rust.

The sire is Ch Amazon El Torro ' Boss ' (pictured bottom right)
By using Boss we have introduced more new European bloodlines to our kennel but also maintaining some of the strong English lines which give us the elegance in our breeding. Of course as always we have been careful to use a dog that will continue the excellence of our temperaments.

We are pleased to announce the safe arrival of our Whina / Ozzy litter
Whina gave birth to 11 healthy puppies on 17th April. Mum and puppies are doing well.
She has 8 boys ( 6 black / rust & 2 brown / rust ) and 3 girls ( 2 black / rust & 1 brown / rust ).

At the moment we definitely have available 4 black males and possibly 1 brown male. The bitches are possibly all booked.

LITTER DUE

We are expecting a litter of puppies on or around 20th April.

The dam is our girl OTAGO AROHA 'Whina'

The sire is our brown boy OTAGO RUNANGA 'Ozzy'

For this litter we have chosen to line breed our English lines whilst keeping several top European bloodlines in the pedigree.

Whina has been lightly shown but did extremely well when shown. Amongst her wins she was awarded Best Puppy Bitch at Scottish Dobermann Club Championship Show.

Ozzy has been consistently placed at championship show and open show level. He gained his Stud Book Number at Paignton Champ Show. He is the sire of our own OTAGO MAAKA 'Max' and OTAGO HINIMONA 'Rosie' who can be seen on Our Dogs page.

Our dobermann puppies are bred for soundness of temperament and conformation and expect this litter to be of excellent quality and type.

Whina is VWD clear, PHPV clear and Hips 4 : 3
Ozzy is VWD clear, PHPV clear and Hips 6 : 5
